Simply Stunning

When I met with Leah, she definitely had some specific things in mind for her wedding.
The  colors were gray and a mustard-y yellow and there were certain flowers she did not prefer.
But she REALLY wanted yarrow.
I like it when a bride knows what she wants!

The bouquets that I created for Leah and her bridesmaids were a mix of white hydrangea,
white stocks, mini white callas, thistle, black pepper berries, dusty miller...
and of course the yellow yarrow. The contrast of colors and textures was so pretty!

The wedding was held at the Savage Mill and every detail was planned to perfection.
The color scheme was so right on
 - simple and elegant -
and everything (and everyone) looked gorgeous on the beautiful fall day!

Congratulations, Jorge and Leah!
I was so honored to be able to be part of your beautiful day.

Megan's vision for her late May wedding
had clean lines, crisp colors and classy style.
Black, white and lime green were her colors.

Doesn't she look gorgeous?!
The bridesmaids carried white roses, green hydrangea, green spider mums, and white lilies.
The bouquets looked fantastic with their black dresses.

Megan carried white roses, white hydrangea, white lilies, hypericum berries and salal leaves.
Her bouquet was wrapped in white satin ribbon with black lace.

The results were striking and everyone looked so beautiful.
Congratulations Michael and Megan!

.vineyard beauty.

Chet and Devon got married at the beautiful Sunset Hills Vineyard in Virginia.
Devon wanted something that was elegant but organic - not
stuffy or formal but consistent with the gorgeous natural surroundings.

For Devon's bouquet I used blue and green hydrangea, white lisianthus,
delphinium, dusty miller, wax flowers, salal leaves and a few willow branches.
She loved her flowers and I loved how they turned out too.

The five adorable flowers girls each had a wreath of lisianthus and wax flowers.

The bridesmaids carried white and green hydrangea, lisianthus, salal, dusty miller and willow tips.
They looked so beautiful against their teal J. Crew dresses.

For the ceremony, there were arrangments in mason jars with white hydrangea, white snapdragons,
queen anne's lace, delphinium, wax flowers and willow tips.

The ceremony arrangements were moved inside for the reception.

It was a gorgeous wedding and I was honored to be a part of it.

Chet and Devon, I wish you all the happiness in the world!

.happy.

Sarah was referred to me by Isabelle.
We didn't meet until the day of the wedding but
Sarah did a great job communicating to me what she
wanted and I was so excited to put her flowers together.
The colors she requested were blue and yellow.

Beautiful bride.

All of these photos are by Love,Asha Photography.

For Sarah's bouquet I used blue hydrangea, white and yellow roses and
blue delphinium along with salal leaves.

Sarah had a very small bridal party.
The matron of honor carried white flowers to compliment
her yellow dress and the flower girl carried white with
a touch of blue.
All of the bouquets were wrapped in royal blue satin ribbon.
Andy, the groom and his handsome little attendants wore yellow roses.

Sarah was so happy with the flowers when she saw them
which of course made me happy.
I was honored to play a part in making her wedding day more beautiful.

.color.

Erin asked for flowers that reflected the
season - summer at it's finest.
I loved putting these together thinking
about how the bright colors would
complement Erin's gorgeous auburn hair and pretty smile.

I used a mix of roses, peonies and hydrangea
with salal leaves and hypericum for Erin's bouquet.

So pretty!

The bridesmaids bouquets consisted of lighter colors
of the same flowers since
their dresses were so bright.
The overall affect was just what Erin was looking for.
Lots of bright, sunny, beautiful color.

.Classy.

Putting the flowers for this wedding together was pure fun.
The bride, Lauren, also does wedding floral design
so she told me exactly what she wanted down to which particular flowers.
That made my job super easy.
I absolutely love how it all turned out, thanks to her impeccable
taste and vision.

Lauren's bouquet was 3 colors of hydrangea (purple, light blue and medium blue) with some salal leaves. She gave me an old key from her deceased
grandfather's collection to add to the stems.
I loved the vintage charm it added to this simple, classy look.

All of the bouquets were wrapped in royal blue satin ribbon.
It looked so pretty against the silver bridesmaids dresses.
(they were wearing royal blue heels too - so fun!)

The bridesmaids carried a combination of
cream roses, freesia and salal leaves.

The tables for the reception had centerpieces made
with the same combination as the bridesmaids flowers.

We used white hydrangea stems in tall vases
at the alter.  Again, so simple and classy.

Congratulations, Ron and Lauren!
Thank you for asking me to be part of your day.

.princess wedding.

The colors for this wedding were light blue and brown and for the flowers I had pink accents.
For the bride's bouquet I used white and light pink roses, light blue hydrangea, white and pink callas and tweedia.

Doesn't she look like a princess?

The bridesmaids bouquets were very simple with white roses, one pink calla for accent and tweedia.
